What is Profits For Pets?

Profits for Pets is a turn key e-commerce fundraising solution available at no charge and exclusively to the those in the Animal Rescue community. Learn more about us here.

How does it work?

Profits for Pets partners with kick-ass businesses who make products for pets and products for people who love pets. We then provide nonprofit groups, some who do not have the resources to run a fundraising program, with an “out of the box” e-commerce option to raise money for their organization.

Profits for Pets provides each organization with a ready-to-go online store, as well as marketing materials and support to help you be successful. Learn more about how it works here.

Why is it free?

Just like you, we have a soft spot in our hearts for animals in search of their forever family. We know from experience how much energy and love you put into good homes for those in need.

We also know that having a traditional fundraising program is a tremendous amount of work and out of reach for many groups. And, quite simply, we want to help. No strings attached. Read more about our story here.

What if I don’t know anything about fundraising or only have volunteers?

Then we want to hear from you! Our aim is to help organizations — and especially rescue groups or shelters who don’t have paid staff or a fundraising program — to raise money.

We know that adoption fees for the animals you find forever homes for often don’t come close to covering the cost of medical expenses, food and other supplies you need to keep doing your fantastic work.

That’s why we designed Profits for Pets as a turn-key system so that it doesn’t take any more effort than what you’re doing now to generate additional funds. Many organizations operate on a tight budget or through a network of volunteers and don’t have the resources to have a fundraising program or paid staff. We provide you with lots of assistance with marketing materials you can personalize, Facebook and Instagram images to use, email marketing and even a 12-month promotional plan to make the most of your store!

What if I don’t know anything about marketing?

We provide you with everything you need to learn! Letting everyone know about your store is actually pretty easy if you have the right tools. We’ll help you every step of the way and provide continued support to help you grow and be successful.

How can I start fundraising with Profits for Pets?

The first step is for you to email or call us. Once you complete our On-Boarding process (all done online) your store is ‘live’ in a few business days and you’re ready to get started.

What if I’m not good with computer stuff?

That’s okay! We can’t promise there won’t be a learning curve when you get started, and yet we do our very best to help you learn what you need to know, provide all the tools you need and give you lots of support.  We do the initial set up and maintain the store site.
